I've taken my son to Cool Heads several times. Each and every time, the level of attention has been exceptional. This time, Trent took care of my son's haircut and it was great. Not only did my son get the style of cut he wanted, but Trent was very engaging and helped ease the kid's nerves (he didn't want to get his hair cut). All in all, every visit has been good to great.
I recently moved to Dallas and have been searching for a great haircut. 4 barber shops later and I found Gabriella. And boy am I glad I did. She’s fantastic. I tell her what I’m vaguely going for and she takes it from there. Great person too. Highly recommend.
Had an awesome experience at Cool Heads Salon For Men! Gabriela is the real deal, super talented and totally nailed the cut after I showed her a pic of what I wanted. She's super chill, friendly, and fluent in Spanish, which made the whole experience even better. Today I went in for my haircut after 3 months of letting my hairgrow from a buzzcut I got and Marga did an amazing job making it look fresh and adding shape to my hair. I had also recently gotten ear surgery so it was a difficult task with the stitches but she did great. Such a wonderful lady as well, and in general an awesome environment at the Salon.
This is my second time coming back to this specific location on Lake Forest and 121. This place is BY FAR way more professional and organized than the other cool heads in the area. Margarita cut my hair for the second time and it was picture perfect. She knows what she’s doing and understands the difference between a bald fade and taper fade unlike other Cool heads locations I been to (Frisco location). She even takes notes on the computer and saves it to give you what you want the next time you come. The shop is very clean, nice looking and the TV and music give a nice vibe. The other barbers are friendly as well, people who actually enjoy what they are doing. 6 out of 5 stars forsure.

Marga is not just a hairstylist—she is an artist, a mind reader, and a true professional who genuinely cares about the experience and outcome for her clients. What really set Marga apart, though, was her attentiveness and precision. Every step of the process was done with incredible care and attention to detail. She made me feel like I was her only client of the day, focusing fully on getting everything just right. That level of commitment and presence is so rare and genuinely appreciated. The beard trim and shave—easily one of the best grooming experiences I’ve ever had. The razor blade shave was smooth, clean, and expertly done. The hot towel treatment was the cherry on top—deeply relaxing and left my skin feeling refreshed and pampered.
Cool Heads is the exact spot I have been looking for near my home. So pleasant to have the freshest cut by Makema! She is the best and made my visit such a pleasure! I will definitely be back again and can’t wait to bring my son over for his next appointment in the next hour. Thank you you cooled off my head BIG TIME!
